I understand this wasn't the best draft, I also understand they want to maintain the cap space, but to not draft anyone at all this year? That just seems a bit off. I can only hope they do something with that cap space. Can't say as I am very optimistic. I got high hopes, but I don't see a K-mart or other top shelf Free Agent coming to Denver, not without a sign and trade. So I guess I was hoping they would resign Camby, and draft a SG. I guess time will tell. What ya'll think?
Im happy you guys traded jameer nelson to orlando. Thanks alot for that. He is a great point guard just wasnt room for him in denver. Im really happy he is gona play for orlando. He has proven alot of people who doughted him wrong. Cant wait to see him in orlando. Anyway bad not drafting any one the draft didnt have alot of super star players like lebron and yao but it had depth.
Denver didn't need Jameer at all. I do believe that some top free agents may want to head over to the Nuggets to help out, it's a great city to be in.

He has great vision, speed and mentality, both physically and mentally he's a dominating PG presence. He's really great at running the floor and can continue to perform well under pressure, however of course size is always a problem which your team doesn't seem to have much of a problem of and have. However in comparison to how Miller was doing I think you're making the right decision. Still would've been a worthy add.
This was a great move by the Nuggets. They already have a roster full of young talent, they don't need anymore. The Nuggets want to build this team through free agency and with Melo & Nene as the building blocks the Nuggets are armed with cap space to cater to their talents. The Nuggets have a strong shot at bringing in Brent Barry or Q Richardson to upgrade at SG. They will also look to bring back Marcus Camby, and probably add another player to bang inside. What they lacked in last year's playoffs was another scorer to compliment Melo. Upgrading at SG with either player will help Melo out immediately. Both Barry and Q have great outside shots to keep defenses honest. With Barry the Nuggets get a great creater and passer to go along with his perimeter game, and with Q, they get a physical guard who is great at offensive rebounding and has a solid post up game. As for the draft, there wasn't anyone worth keeping around for the Nuggets because they are done with rebuilding. Now they are in a stage to start adding role players and making a push deeper into the playoffs. Also, the Nuggets have a potential lottery pick if the Magic decide to trade McGrady and completely rebuild.

Trading for a Magic first rounder, which will be pretty high up within one, two, or even three years is a good choice to make.
The pick is actually a Washington pick that Orlando got in the Haywood deal. We could have got much more for Jameer, anyone in the league who needs a PG would have wanted him. I have a feel we might have just traded away a future star.
So what, Andre Miller is on the roster, Jameer would just rot on the bench playing behind Andre and Boykins. Orlando's pick is going to be high, it's not like he was traded to Dallas, so the pick is going to be a good one, I think it was a good move in trading him, no sense in keeping him.
