With all the AI to Denver trade talk, the the brawl, and then AI's trade to Denver the Nuggets have got way more attention than they usually do. Personally, I don't like it. It will either bring a good ego or bad ego to our team and the brawl started to bring a bad ego. I would much rather fly under the radar.Your thoughts?
I really don't mind the attention. Denver isn't exactly talked about that much within the media so at least people are starting to notice we exist.
Oh... they'll notice when Iverson finally gets to play with 'Melo... don't you worry! But, the timing of this deal couldn't have been better for Denver (in a sense). With Carmelo still out 14 games, and Smith out 9 more, Iverson should give them a great shot every night to win.But... this will mean two different adjustment periods. Iverson will probably be used to playing with the rest of the Nuggets by the time Carmelo returns, and then they'll have to go through another adjustment period.I wouldn't be surprised if it got off to somewhat of a rocky start (no pun intended), but down the stretch Denver will be dangerous.
