The Grizzlies came to play and surprised the defensively challenged Denver Nuggets tonight ending the Nuggets win streak at 5. Melo got 37 but the starting guards had just 10 points between them. Diawara had a nice game off the bench with 13 points, a block, and he was 3/6 from 3-point land.

George Karl refused to call time out as the Nuggets were falling badly behind in a huge Memphis 2nd quarter run. The Nuggets caught up in the third quarter but Memphis scored almost at will and surged ahead early in the 4th quarter. Will someone do something, anything, about the lack of defensive hustle and pressure? Jeesh!

Next game: at Minnesota, Friday Night December 1, 6 PM mountain time

I blame George Karl just liked I blamed Jeff Van Gundy after Rockets lost to Spurs. Calling Timeout's at the right times when your team is getting out of rhythm is very important.

Im 90% sure Nuggets take this game, though.
