The Nuggets are expected to announce today the signing of the Colorado 14ers swingman for the rest of the season, and he will be a candidate to play tonight against the Hornets. They also may sign either point guard Anthony Carter or point Mateen Cleeves, with Carter sounding much more optimistic Thursday night about being selected. The Nuggets flew Wafer, Carter and Cleeves to Oklahoma City on Thursday, and they worked out at the Ford Center. "He?s so pumped, you?d have thought he signed a $90 million contract,?? said Wafer?s agent, Raymond Brothers, who said his client signed Thursday.</div> He was a hell of a high school player and he should have went to college, but he is very athletic and very explosive. He does play a bit sloppy, but he can fit on a running team.
lol...Vony...this guy can score when he's on but he can't do much else. He has a nice dunk but he rarely gets to use it and he has some mental problems as far as confidence. I think when Kirk Snyder dunked over him last year he lost alot of it. He is doing very well scoring wise in the NBDL and he played a bit for the Clippers this season (10 day contract) Let's see if he brings something new to the table with Denver.
He's alright, there's room for improvment in his game in which he will hopefully slowly work on as the year progresses and if so then he may even be apart of the nuggets roster next season..He will do fine with the nuggets right now.
I actually don't see a reason for us to add guys, but w/e you never know there can be a injury or something.

I saw him in summer league the last 2 years, he's fun to watch.
