After failing in their efforts to acquire swingman Corey Maggette in the summer, Denver has continued to express interest in a multiplayer trade with the Clippers, sources said Thursday. General Manager Elgin Baylor does not comment on trade talks, but the Nuggets are willing to include guard J.R. Smith as the centerpiece of their proposal for Maggette, the sources said. Forward Joe Smith also is among the players Denver has considered moving for Maggette, who led the Clippers in scoring in the 2004-05 season. Others teams have also contacted the Clippers about Maggette.</div> Source
Corey has some good value in him. The Clippers can get better deals. This past summer the 76ers wanted him and Livingston for Iverson..that would've made this team contenders right away.

Shaun is way to valuable for the future, I would only trade him for kids like Lebron and Wade. Cory is a brilliant player, when he is actually playing. I'd be guessing for a team to dish out a really good player, a few of them for him would be taking a huge gamble.
iverson would make this a championship team this year, and maybe for the next couple years. i would have loved that trade, as both a sixers fan and a clipper fan.
No, we wouldn't love to have Iverson, I'd rather get someone like Pierce. I don't believe Iverson would make us a championship team more than someone like that would.
