On both closing plays, the Wolves have had horrendous plays coming out of the time-out. Both times they looked like they had no idea what was called and what to do. They looked like they were running around til there was 1.5 secs left and threw it to KG. The play when they stole the ball from Carmelo w 10 secs left was an obvious foul though, so it shouldn't have been as close as it was.

Hats off to Carmelo for a helluva shot over Hassell. If the game ended there, I wouldn't have a problem. But the extra time that we had just showed our inability to communicate effectively and efficiently.

Another heartbreaking loss, so what else is new?

This is what happens when you don't bring back your go-to guy in the clutch, Sam I Am.

The man who replaced him, Jaric, has been dropped to 3rd on the depth chart and only played 15 MPG last night.

The loss last night pretty much puts the TWolves out of the playoff picture.

Back to back seasons with KG missing the playoffs is inexcusable. Kevin McHale has now failed at building a championship team around KG, and also failed in trying to rebuild the TWolves.

Come summertime I see both Kevins in new places. KG likely ends up in Chicago, and McHale ... well who cares.

I don't know. Jim Peterson was remarking on this. The team that we have actually isn't that bad. They just need some time together. He was stating that the playoffs are a stretch, but he sees potential. He was stating that the fans want to see good basketball, and the only real disheartening thing is when they continually make the same mistakes (which is one thing that I went over in starting this thread). I honestly think that with some time (off-season and preseason) they'll be okay.

I also believe that one more off-season scandal (Las Vegas trip this season) and KG may decide that it's time to try new pastures.

There's a difference between being loyal being stupid. If management can't keep it together for 1 season without something marring it's name, he could be using his energy somewhere else.
