    This should be fun to follow for two weeks in September.

    Usually love our guys playing international hoops but after seeing Dame exacerbate his abdominal strain last year and Jusuf's history of (admittedly, acute) injuries, I will be irrationally worried. Not sure how the team feels after investing so heavily in his services either. There is probably a good argument that this will keep him engaged and training earlier in the summer-- so there's at least that.

    I'm actually good with him playing. He posted this picture yesterday on facebook and he looked a little fat Zion'ish to me. Maybe playing will get him in better shape.

    My obvious worry is Nurk starting the clock on his next injury. Otherwise, yeah it will help his pre-camp conditioning.

    This is the downside of signing Euros. I respect them for playing for their countries, but it is just one more risk. And it just extends their season by another month. I want their mind right just as much as I want their bodies right

    I prefer they get back to Portland in early September and start building chemistry for the upcoming season. I also prefer that the players work on their weaknesses in the off-season as long as possible.
