I think Big Pharma is pretty much for anyone who will enforce their patents in international trade deals.

They created the first vaccine quite a while ago, now there are a few more. I believe a lady in Seattle was the first to start the trial.

I don't get what the conspiracy theories would be saying?

There is a vaccine it just takes a year plus for complete trials, then mass produce, then dispurse on global scale.

Vaccines are in early trials. Phase one is safety trial on healthy people. Then you have to show it works.

Then safety studies, then at least 4-8 months for the FDA to validate all data and approve the vaccine.
 
And stability study, plus ramping up production from the few thousand needed for study to the hundreds of millions needed to protect the population. Plus lawsuits from moronic anti-vaxxers.
