Well if it'll get me a day off of work, I'll take it.

Dude...insane. I worked a baby shift because I requested the afternoon off. I worked 6 AM - 11:45 AM. Line out the door the whole time.

    I went back @ 3:00 to get my sweatshirt I left...still a line.

@ 7 I went to the gas station to get gas by my work...still out the door.

The closers got out an hour late and didn't even finish everything. It was insane. It was fun, though. Most of the customers were in a really good mood. I hooked up my regulars with free Venti's and free grande's instead of just a plain old tall cup of coffee. The tips were also good, as well.

I'm surprised that the 4th isn't a national holiday for voting.

That's something I'd be in favor of. Especially with the large voter turn out we had this past election. Most people didn't have to wait long, but personally I spent 4 hours in line. It makes a lot of sense to give people the day off to vote.

Damn that's pretty insane. The lines were long here also. They estimated it would cost Starbucks $2.4M for all the free coffee they were giving out.

I'm glad people were decent enough to fill your tip jar up!

This is more than how he does as president, Bush fucked it up so badly that it will probably be hard to look good anyway. This should eventually be a holiday because of what he has done history-wise.

Seriously, the first muslim, unamerican, socialist, friend of terrorist, gay loving (I mean seriously, he wants to give them rights, as if they're human beings or something), baby killing president all put into one!

In all seriousness though, not immediately of course, but eventually, he should get a holiday for the truly remarkable thing he has done for a culture that has gone through so much in this country. Someone who broke the ultimate color barrier. Yes, he deserves one.
