For nothing!!! it was a salary cap dump and that's it. gawd he must really, really suck. but now we have 2 roster spots open
Re: O'Bryant traded to Kings Solomon to be a bench guard and Smith to be a back up PF/C = bolstered bench
Re: O'Bryant traded to Kings Guess the Nocioni thing fell down. Which is good, I wasn't really on board with that idea.
Re: O'Bryant traded to Kings word. On one hand he's a talent. On the other, losing 4 guys from a thin bench is a tad much.. okay 3 guys POB doesn't count

UPDATE: It was a 3 way deal; POB to Toronto, Soloman to Kings, conditional 2nd round pick to Celts. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?page=TradeTalkRoundup-090218 That'd be a very good move for the Celts if it meant them picking up Moore, Joe Smith, Marbury, or whoever else is available in FA/waiver wire. They're doing a good job of clearing roster spots and creating opportunities for themselves to pick up good, productive reserves on the cheap. LOL @ how excited Celts fans were when they got POB though. "He could turn into the best backup C in the league!"
Lol suuure. You guys all thought KG would change him into an intense beast too. Strange how a reasonably athletic 7 foot tall guy with a money sky hook/jump hook could suck so bad. Dude just does not care about basketball.
The Celtics are expected to land Joe Smith (after he's bought out) or Mikki Moore (after he's waived).
