Below is the October/November schedule for the Wizards. Predict their record for these games, as I have already done. Note: I did not include any preseason games. @ Chicago Win @ Toronto Loss vs. New Jersey Loss vs. Dallas Loss vs. Toronto Win vs. Cleveland Win vs. Philadelphia Win vs. @ Miami Win vs. San Antonio Loss @ Atlanta Loss vs. Cleveland Win @ Denver Loss @ Seattle Win @ Portland Win @ L.A. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting thefranchise3:</div><div class="quote_post">^ Wow thats harsh, you don't find they can get to at least .500? They're really deep.</div> I do like the Wiz, but I feel that there are many questions for this team. Does Stackhouse play better now without Jordan there now that he is back to being the main scoring option? Can Gilbert Arenas close out a basketball game and cut down those turnovers? Can Kwame Brown really deal with this pressure to perform as a number one pick? I am not saying that all #1 picks have this problem, but this with Kwame has been well documented. This team always seems to be hit with injuries as well. If everybody gets on the same page, this team can play very well, but that right now is an "if"

But a 3-13 record is pretty terrible for a team who is better than that with all those injuries. I really don't think scoring will be a problem especially with the bench they have. I think it will come down to defense and how well they can rebound. I think if they can stay healthy, and if Eddie Jordan isn't affraid to play his young players (unlike Doug Collins, someone who never played them) they can be a pretty good team. I gave them an 8-8 record because I feel they can be a .500 team pretty much throughout the season, but I think they'll miss the playoffs yet again.
In my opinion, the Wizards, Bulls, Heat, and Cavs will be fighting all year for the number 8 seed. These teams may not have a record above .500, but all will have some high times to go along with learning curves. With the Heat getting Odom, they may have an edge, but I don't think we can count on him yet given his past.

(but im not going to argue about that in a wizards forum).
