The Bobcats are loaded in the frontline with a lot of young, talented big men. The Bobcats still need to upgrade their SG situation. They can't get by with Kareem Rush starting all season long. Obviously the Bobcats are going to have to make a move to open up playing time so who should be the odd man out? Emeka Okafor? Sean May? Melvin Ely? Primoz Brezec? Jake Voskul?
It will probably be Melvin Ely or Primoz Brezec. Okafor is untouchable at this point, and May also has a promising future. Voskul won't get us anything if we traded him anyway.

Thats why I'm confused on how come he's getting like ten minutes less than last year.
Brezec definitely impressed last season, but him and Ely are Charlotte's best trade bait. They desperately need help at SG.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">If you're looking to rip Primoz Brezec for his slow start this season, you're too late. The Charlotte Bobcats center beat you to it. "Because I (stink)," Brezec said when asked why the Utah Jazz seemed to grab all the big rebounds in Monday's overtime loss. Coach Bernie Bickerstaff believes Brezec is still run down from an exhausting summer playing for the Slovenian national team. Bickerstaff shut Brezec down for about a week of the preseason, partially to treat shin splints and partially to rest him for the regular season.</div> Source Explains the slow start from Brezec. I don't think the Bobcats will trade him, because he has a cheap contract and is a skilled 7 footer. He compliments Okafor's game perfectly. Ely is probably the odd man out, but teams won't over pay for him because he's going to be a free agent next summer. He might have more value closer to the trade deadline, and teams trying to get over the hump for the playoffs might give up a draft pick to land him.
Doubt that we'll trade Brezec, but Ely is the most likely one like shape said. But the thing is, who could we get for Ely? I don't think we may be able to get much for just Ely, we might have no choice but to include Brezec in the trade, since his trade value has probably gone up a bit. This brings me to another question, which teams could we possibly trade with that may want them? Atlanta? Maybe make a move for JR Smith? Hmm..well don't know about JR. Well what do you guys think?
How about DeShawn Stevenson? The Magic could use some center help, and Brezec would be an upgrade over Battie.

He'd certainly be an upgrade over Rush/Bogans.
