Not necessarily you're weird, old racist uncle Jim-Bob, but like a sibling or a cousin. Whats the strangest thing they believe (religious barbs aside)? Like for example, my one of my cousins was, for a short time, convinced that Obama was the Anti-Christ, and that the US did not land on the moon. I'm not entirely sure she still doesn't believe that.
I believe I can fly. I believe I can touch the sky. I think about it every night and day. Spread my wings and fly away. I believe I can soar. I see me running through that open door.
Not a family member, but a good friend in high school was a holocaust denier. He had a really messed childhood; he was Jewish but his mother was converted Catholic and insisted on having Christmas trees in the house... who knows what other crazy crap was going on. Other than that, nobody in my family believed any weird stuff beyond the usual liberal/conservative stuff.
My father believes McMillian was one of the greatest coaches the Blazers have ever had. Still can't wrap my hate mongering mind around that one. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Family thinks Advocare are the greatest supplements of all time and get upset when you use other cost efficient and better products
Let's see: I have an ex-sister-in-law who thinks she can cast spells and read minds. I have a current sister-in-law who believes wholeheartedly that those ghost-hunting shows are really capturing evidence that proves she's right. My mom's best friend (who I consider my aunt) believes that God speaks to her through her TV set. Oh, and my boss believes I'm working furiously right now...
I don't want to name the relation, but he thought he was Jesus and sat on the freeway, on one of the dividing lines, in his underwear and played his guitar. He has since been medicated and is a great person.
My father actually believes that Obama is a socialist-communist whose ultimate goal is the destruction of the nation.
Well, I think of the S2 gang as family, and let me tell you, some of you believe some pretty crazy shit. barfo
My cousin believes in Karma. My sister shocked the whole family back in the day when she said she would stop honoring United Farm Workers boycott. She backtracked when faced with a boycott of her by the whole family. Several family members are observant Jews. There may be someone somewhere who supports capitalism but I can't say for sure. My father does not like cats.
Wait, I'm confused. Do you want us to tell you about things that are actually true? If so, that's going to be a long list.
Start a fight? It's the truth. We've had the same heated arguments I've had in this forum. I truly do believe its the oddest thing a family member believes.
What's wrong with Karma? I don't know if I believe in Karma exactly, but I think the idea makes sense. You do bad things, bad things happen to you. Makes sense to me.
