http://www.nba.com/video/channels/nba_tv/2008/12/12/nba_por_oden_20081212_sot.nba/ I dont know if this was posted yet, but it's Oden talking to rick kamla and steve smith about the pressures hes had so far in the season. He says that the reason he looks down is because he wants to keep a straight face and not be too high or too low on himself. Quality vid.
Great video. I love that play where Chandler is jawin' at him. Oden backs him down, turns and banks it in his face!
So his blank expressions didn't mean that he didn't care about basketball? But we had a lot of important pop-psychologists telling us that it did mean that. Either Oden is lying or our resident body-linguists were wrong.
Oh...now we're going to listen to Oden? Whatever. Personally, I think it's clear he's possessed by the devil. But that's just me.
Looked like Big G.O. didn't want at all to hear what Charles had to say, but afterwards, was all right. And it looks like we saw a little bit of G.O.'s personality come back a bit in the interview.
I can't imagine how hard it is for Oden- but I think this experience will make him tougher- give him that chip on the shoulder. next year when he gets his physical gifts completely back, I can see him dominating those players that took advantage of him this year. Oden can send Shaq into retirement with 50 or so dunks in his face.
Don't forget yall, that we are those jackasses on the internet Barkley was talking about. Kinda funny, because he mentioned how it was us (the internetz) and the radio as jackasses, but how he neglected to mention himself (and T.V.). Charles always goes off on stupid rants. His words to Oden were good but usually he only has negative to say.
when oden gets 20 mpg or more he is averaging 13.1/10.4/1.9 blocks. bynum has not played less than 20 mpg all season and is averaging almost 29.4. bynum's season stats are 13.1/9/1.9. not a big difference.
Thanks for the stats. Interesting then how so many people perceive that Oden looks terrible and Bynum looks like a star. Greg is just going to dominate by his third year. And quite possibly, sooner.
