    I thought x-rays reveal bone chips and MRI's reveal soft tissue damage . . .

    Sort of ... MRI's can reveal damage to bones too, but are usually only used when X-rays are inconclusive.

    Which pretty much sums up what I thought was going on from the jump; no reason to put him in a meaningless exhibition when he's not 100% and needs the rest.
