<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Odom has struggled at times against the team that let him go to Miami in 2003 and had what Jackson called afterward a ?nightmare game,? although he managed 18 points on 6-of-18 shooting. Odom vowed to be more professional this season after the death of his infant son in July, but failed to appear by the required time for the third consecutive game Tuesday night. Players are supposed to arrive an hour and a half before game time; Odom was 15 minutes late Tuesday night. Asked if the tardiness plays a part in Odom?s performance, Jackson said: ?It has.? ?It?s just about being ready,? Jackson added. ?It?s about being sharp. It?s all about execution this game ? and that?s part of it, being on time.? Players are issued a small fine for being late, which Jackson said generally works because ?You take a dollar away from these guys and they cry.? But Jackson said there is a ?three-strike rule,? adding: ?If it continually happens, we?ll have to take measures that are different.? Odom was not at his best to start this game, missing 4 of his first 5 shots from the field ? capped by a missed dunk ? and all four foul shots he tried, plus committing two turnovers</div>I hope he isn't smoking bud again...
Do you think this has anything to do with Kobe? I mean, I know this relationship is supposed to be so great and whatever, but it just seems like Lamar has been playing like crap since Kobe came back.

I don't. This is interesting though, I hope he becomes more punctual. He is a very good basketball player, but he needs to follow the rules and get there on time. 3 straight games? What's that all about?

Either way, I had just been wondering because it seems like everyone's level of play has gone down since Kobe's return...

Odom has actually been playing pretty well besides this last game against the Clippers.

But Lamar did also disappear in the game against Chicago (I think this is the one I watched, which is probably what gave me this thought). He was 4-8 with 10 points... *shrug*

I guess that's just his thing, though.

No-one played awesome tonight. Kobe got tired in the 4th, odom's rebounding has been average. Lamar scored alot but lamar is more to us than a scorer. I'd rather take 18/12/6 than what he brought today.

It seemed like he could score in the paint at will. They should have gone to Lamar in the paint during the end of the game.
