Özil set up Giroud for the opening goal and Rambo scored a brace to power Arsenal to a 3-1 victory at Sunderland. Sunderland converted a penalty kick awarded on a sloppy tackle from Koscielny in the box but had goals called back on Fletcher (offsides) and Altidore (free kick no advantage). Lead official Martin Atkinson was atrocious. With 9 points and a goal advantage over Spuds, Arsenal moves to the top of the table, waiting to see the Swansea/Liverpool result tomorrow.
