The cap space has been cleared to bring Michael Redd back and appoint him the team's franchise player. The Bucks have a solid starting lineup and compete each night.

Starters

PG - Mo Williams - Set
SG - Michael Redd - Set
SF - Desmond Mason - Set
PF - Joe Smith - Set
C - Dan Gadzuric - (free agent)

Bench

Reece Gaines
Calvin Booth
TJ Ford (hopefully he can play again)

Besides Redd what else is needed for the Bucks to improve next season?

I dont think the SG spot is set, because his homestate is coming after him. I still think he'll be a Cav by next year, just my opinion

If he's not back, i'd look at other players like JJ and Hughes, or even try something different like sign Kwame Brown to play PF or C, and sign a lower tier SG. Gotta see how things in the lottery and draft workout first.

The Bucks should look to add some depth to their bench during the offseason. The Bucks could start this through the draft. If a starter gets in foul trouble, it may be their downfall with the bench they have now. The starting line up is solid, and the likes of Mo Williams will only get better. If they can stay healthy and add some more depth to their bench, the Bucks should be a considerably better team.

A legit big man can help. If the Bucks get into the lottery, they should draft one and the cap space from the KVH deal should attract some FA here. A post threat complimenting Redd's game will really help though. It wont give the Bucks an identity of solely a jump shooting team.

Redd is going to re-sign with the Bucks. He has said that he wants to stay a Buck and Harris has said they didn't trade him because they know they will re-sign him
