    Why is that? I think $3 million is more than enough for a rookie coming into the league. Not all of these guys will be Kobe Bryants and Tim Duncans. There will be busts, lots of them. I think the money in general we are paying athletes is way out of contol. I'm glad there is a set cap system for uncoming rookies that are drafted in the first round. After three years, if these guys prove that they are good then they will get the money they deserve. There is no need for them to be making more money in their first three years then they are now. Why do you think they deserve more money?
