I give Cho a B for this trade session. Yes I like the Wallace trade. But I think the Blazers could have brought in even more help for the 2nd unit and dropped the ball on a couple of opportunities. So a B it is. Good but not great.
Good point. Plenty of props goes to PA as well. Between PA willing to spend, Larry Miller having a great relationship with Jordan and Cho crunching the numbers and running the simulations, really feels like the organization as a whole had a part in this. That's a good thing.
That isn't the help we need on the 2nd unit. The 2nd unit needed size (backup PF) and a PG. Considering that offensively Batum plays a lot like a bench player, I don't see the improvement. If you consider on top of it that we lost Joel, now there is no size on the 2nd unit at all.
I read that the deal was Brooks + Battier for Camby. I'm guessing we backed out. Now Brooks has been sent to PHX for Dragic + 1st round pick.
