And the NBA playoffs go marching along...

First time in 17 years a team other than the Spurs, Lakers, Mavericks or Thunder will represent the Western Conference in the Finals.

First finals since 1998 w/ no Lakers, Spurs or Heat.

Welcome to Silver's NBA.

Hallelujah

Now the Spurs are out, I've got no real interest. I want them all to lose. I guess I don't mind Memphis or any of the East teams (most of whom are pretty anonymous), but I don't see any of those winning it.

If Kyrie and LeBron get hot and work their offensive geniuses they could win, I give them about 25-30% chance right now to win.

Stephen Curry makes me think of Justin Bieber. And I don't like that.

I think we all wanted to see us get some transition game going... We just can't... #ThanksStotts
I don't think I have seen an NBA team run the break as poorly has the Blazers have the last few years. It seems like we score on about 40% of the opportunities when it should be around 85%.

Anyone know where we can find some data on PPP fast breaks?

Man Conley sounds messed up, I wonder if hes gonna be able to play at all for the remainder of the playoffs.

Golden State a 10.5 point favorite tomorrow night... Yikes!

We had the same problem under McMillan, as I recall. I mentioned in one of the other threads that CJ showed us how badly this team needs slashers instead of just stationary players, and that's been a void in the team's makeup for what feels like 15 years now. I suspect that has a lot to do with our inconsistent transition abilities.
