With the surge in attention the W is getting and out of respect to @crandc , I thought it was a good idea to start this. Can’t lie, set the Fever game to record tonight.

Any sneaker heads will tell you that the Nike Sabrina 1s are amazing…… and they just released pics of the 2s that come out this fall. Sneaker world is freaking out, they are better than any other mens shoe out there right now. It is pretty cool to see there are about 50 NBA players who wear her shoe in games.

Is this professional or like semi-pro?

Please tell me I didn't have to use green font.

Crazy thing is, the NBA completely funds the WNBA right? Goes to show you how much money the NBA is making. Mind boggling. MLS and NWSL are completely separate entities if I’m not mistaken.

Women’s soccer has quite the head start and international play has played a huge role I’m pretty sure?

Edit- ooops you mean women are allowed to play soccer also?

The new Bay Area team has a name. Valkyries. That will take some getting used to. But at least I know what music will be played at games.

If you saw Apocalypse Now you have heard Ride of the Valkyries.

What an awesome name for a women's sports team. Especially with the music. I'm truly surprised it hasn't been used before.

Valkyries are warriors so it fits in with the men's team.

Clearly Clark has some nerves. But also games biggest stars warned there is a jump from college to pros. Makes sense only best college players make pros. And in college women go four years with same teammates.

    She'll be fine.

Damien Lillard had high praise for Kate Martin, former Iowa player taken in second round by Las Vegas.

Clark (no e) had her best game ad a pro but Fever still lost. Rumor coach on the hot seat.

Veterans are correct, there is a learning curve. Angel Reese had a bad first game. Cameron Brink got 8 rebounds but shot poorly. Los Angeles with two top picks isn't winning. Camila Cardoso has a shoulder injury.
