WHO: @ WHEN: Thursday, October 26, 2006 7:00 PM EST WHERE: TD Waterhouse Centre, Orlando, FL WHAT: Pre-season Game #8 for the Orlando Magic STARTING LINEUPS: PG: SG: SF: PF: C: COACHES: ORLANDO MAGIC (5-2): The Magic are coming off of a bad loss to the Heat on Tuesday 92-82. The Magic were up 31-12 at the end of the first quarter and by as much as 21 in the second, but the Heat were able to close to within 4 by halftime and eventually win the game behind the stellar play of undrafted guard Vincent Grier, and veteran forward Antoine Walker. The Magic were lead by Hedo Turkoglu who scored 18 points. HOUSTON ROCKETS (5-1): The Rockets are coming off a massacre just down I-95 in Miami last night 96-71. The Rockets seem to finally be at full strength and that is the reason for such a good record in the preseason. In their last game the Rockets were lead by former Magic superstar, Tracy McGrady who finished with 19 points. Coming in right Behind him was rookie forward Steve Novak who scored 17. Novak is averagin 12 points per game in the preseason and is 18 out of 36 from behind the three point line. WHAT TO EXPECT: You can expect the Magic to play their stars extended minutes just because it's the last game before the regular season. You can also expect everyone but Trevor Ariza to play for the Magic, including JJ Redick. And finally you will hear a lot of Boo's when Paul Porter says the following: "At small forward from Mount Zion Christian Academy, Number 1 Tracy McGrady." This is the third time T-Mac will suit up against the Magic in Orlando since the divorce back in June 2004. PREDICTION:MAGIC:110, ROCKETS:114
