    <font color="Red">Keys To The Game:</font>

    - Bench Production Despite the absence of Pau Gasol and Stromile Swift, the Gizzlies are still a pretty deep team. Bench production to match their second unit will be neccessary.

    - Home Mo: After the recent complaints coming from Morris Peterson that he's not getting enough touches and playing time, he must come out strong and loose and make a difference on the road. He has the most differntial between Home and Road performances. The play of Peterson could indicate if the Raps are able to pull off the win or not.

    - One Shot: Memphis attack the offensive glass a lot, and have hustle players who will jump for loose balls and creative turnovers out of nothing. Must take care of the ball and be effecient on the offence. Defensively, must box out on every shot and eliminate their offensive rebounds.

    <font face="Comic Sans MS"><font size="7">.......</font></font>

    <font color="Red">Game Matchup:</font>

    [IMG] vs [IMG]
    Mike Miller vs Morris Peterson

Mike Miller is a great shooter off the dribble, off screens and spot up. Mo must fight hrough all screen and contest every shot. Make him put the ball on the floor which is the weakest part of his game.
Offensevily, Peterson gotta come out loose and ready to play. The Raps can't afford another one of them road nights for Mo. He has to contribute and back up what he said after the game at San Anotnio.

    <font face="Comic Sans MS"><font size="7">.......</font></font>

    <font color="Green">The X-Factor:</font>

    Milt Palacio
Milt The Stilt will find himself going up against Earl Watson, the best backup point guard in the league. Wether it's Williams or Watson, Milt should run the offence thorugh Bosh and Rose, as well as using Bonner and Marshall off screen and rolls, and he has been doing a great job of this lately. Defensively, he should try to eleminate Watson from penetration as well as containing Jason Williams in transition and when he pulls up in teh fast break.

    <font face="Comic Sans MS"><font size="7">.......</font></font>

    <font color="Red">Say What?! (Prediction)</font>

After an expected loss at San Antonio to kick off a 4-Game western road trip, Raps should look to steal one in Memphis who are playing without Pau Gasol and Stromile Swift. Raps comeback from a the Spurs loss and steal one on the road. Raps win, 97-89.

After taht terible shooting performance in san Antonie, I'm oping the Raptors can do everything they did right in taht San Antonio game..except I expect them too be shooting better(if not, alot better)than that night.

I barely've paid attention tot he Grizz this year, but WIthout their regualr front court, The Raptors should be able to stay close. A close(well...you know) game, with the Raptors winning by 5.

And I lvoe the cheerleader pic you threw in.

wow, just wow. IThought we werep laying a great game until the lattter 3rd Q and the Fourth Quarter. We were doing things tha we shoulda been doing and the game was going smoothly. Thee was alot of trouble though and does Jalen's throwing of the jersey warrant a fine?

we had a couple of chances to steal it back in the fourht but we kept jacking up threes. The collapse is a concern. We haven't started off MArch right, maybe we can play better the rest of the month.

It also looks like Home Mo(LoL) is not Away Mo. We need Mo to perform(what was it...2 for 10?) for us to have a better chacne at success.

raps lose 86-75....ugly 4th quarter, only 8 points in the q and we kept jacking up 3's. Mo as usual had a bad game and bosh really didnt have a good game either. But i dont think jalen will get fined, cause i see alot of players doing that after they get ejected or something.

Man, what was with Bosh getting 5 fouls in that many minutes. Lorenzen and Battier really killed us in this game. I didn't watch the gmae because I was out, but pretty dissapointing 4th quarter though.

After the Battier 3 point play and the off-balanced three from the pocket, I just turned off my tv and shook my head with disgust.

Other than the 1997-98 season Finale against the Sixers, this is one of the most frustrating and disappointing loss I have ever seen.

you should turn off ur tv from now on, because the raptors will keep losing at least on road games. Because they don't have a superstar player who can nightly get doubled team and leave other teamates wide open shots. Chris Bosh will be a superstar but not this season, he'll need at least 2 more years to develop his skills and command other teams to double him. Jalen can get doubled if he's on fire other than that forget it. the raptors shouda traded moris peterson, he dosent desereve to be in the starting lineup role, lemond does. and dosent deserve the millon dolllars he's getting from the raptors period. By the way, what was babcock thinking when he didn't trade marshell, did he think they'll make the playoff lol. they coulda got something out of him, because he will not sign with the raptors again. what a stupid GM

Not surprisingly this is coming from a Vince Carter fan. Okay, we're bad on the road, but we have won road games this season, it's not like it's impossible for us to win on the road.

You don't need a superstar, or someone who attracts double teams, to be a playoff team, or even a championship team. The Pistons didn't have that, and still, what they do have is a great overall team. That's what the Raptors need to be. Bosh is already starting to attracting double teams and triple teams at times when he's on fire, so it won't be a huge issue next year, because by this time next year Bosh will be an All-Star.

Your Morris Peterson comment baffles me. How does Lamond deserve to be in the starting lineup?? He's not a good defensive player to say the least, and all he does is jack it up. A scorer/shooter/jacker like him, is more suited to be coming off the bench. Morris Peterson is in the game because he's the best teams 1 on 1 defender, gives 100% on D, and does what he can with his abilities on offense.

The only comment I agree on is your last one on the non-Marshall trade.

i don't agree with you of lamond shouldnt be starting because he's a jacker like you said. Lamond can post up, drive in, and shoot it at the same time. Playing good defense dosen't mean you deserve to be in the starting lineup. payton is not a good defender like he used to, marcus banks is a good defender than him now but still he comes off the bench. if moris go to any team other than toronto he woudn't start, he's a bench player period. he's a catch and shoot guy. oh you said Bosh attracts triple team when he's on fire, be real double team yah, but not triple

Yea so, this is Toronto, not any other team. Lamond Murray is not better than Morris Peterson. To defend my case even more, Lamond is a horrible defender, probably the worse defender on this team, worse than Jalen. He shows no emotion or hustle for the team. He can give you about 6-8 points when he's on the floor, but he'll give up 10, and screw up the teams defense, giving other players open shots because he gets broken down by the D.

Why does Bruce Bowen start? Devin Brown and Brent Barry, are much offensive players than him, but he starts because the man plays defense. Why does Tony Allen start over Ricky Davis? Why does Ira Newble start over a much better offensive player in Pavlovic? Because they're better defenders, despite not being as good as an offensive player as the bench player. That's why Morris Peterson starts. It's not even like Murray is much better than Mo on offense, he has an advantage, but Mo's defense puts him over the top of Murray. I mean, if Murray played some defense, I could understand your arguement, but he doesn't. Morris Peterson is the best defender on the team, plus he has a more polished offensive game this year than previous years, still a little wacky, but he deserves it, and he's earned it.

Did you see the recent Bucks game? He was locked in, and had 1 defender guarding him, with 2 defenders coming at him constantly when he put the ball on the floor. Seems like triple teaming to me.

This was the most frustrating loss I've ever watched. When we were leading at the end of the 3rd, I thought we had this game in the bag, especially since fourth quarters are lucky for the Raps.

It was an odd game - horrible 4th quarter, Matt Bonner missing most of his shots, Chris not playing very well, and Jalen getting ejected.

Hmmmm...... You say Peterson doesn't deserve the millions of dollars but Lamond Murray does? I agree Peterson sucks, but I'd take him over Murray anyday.

You also don't trade just for the hell of getting rid of a final-year contract, I agree with you again that Babcock isn't the best of GMs, but look, its first time, plus he's had to deal with a lot of controversy about the Vince Carter thing and whatnot.

Since your a Vince fan, I can't really blame you though.
