The Knicks are coming off a tough loss against the Pistons and are looking to bounce back. Tonight, the Raptors will need to outwork the Knicks' dynamic backcourt of Francis and Marbury. The Raptors gaurds need to do a good job containing these two. Bosh will see many looks tonight against the front court of David Lee and Curry. The bench will be a crucial part to the Raptors success tonight. If they see the bench contribute and come out strong the Raptors have a good chance of building a big lead. Looking at New York's team, they don't have much depth and when subsitutions take place, the Raptors bench needs to take advantage. X-Factor Parker will be an important part of the Raptors team tonight. He will have to be a solid defender and keep up with the means of the Knicks backcourt. Parker has been very solid lately and has been contributing to the Raptors both offensively and defensively. Look for him to have another great game, and for him to make smart decisions against the Knicks Squad. </div>

Tonight's big story line - Toronto's opportunity to seize control of the Atlantic divison with a win over the Knicks, and a New Jersey loss. Toronto just came off a victory over the Celtics last night, as Bosh led the way down the stretch with clutch baskets and free throws. They will try to extend their record to 7-10, but it won't come with ease. The Raptors have struggled mightly on the road winning only 1 road game the entire season so far. Like the Raptors, New York played last night as well, falling to the surging Detroit Pistons. One bright spot has been the play of Eddy Curry, who has scored 20 or more points for the past 3 games. He must have a big game tonight if the Knicks hope to topple Toronto. With both teams, fatigue may be a factor, thus, whichever team comes out with more energy and determination from the get-go should be able to seal the victory. X-Factor Parker has been big in 2 of the last 3 games. Last night, he scored 17 efficient points and was a solid contributer on defense. Tonight, AP will be looked upon to play smart, and score against the suspect defense of the New York backcourt. Also, he will be responsible for holding either Marbury, Francis, Crawford or Richardson - in check. Raptors 104 - Knicks 95</div>
<div class="quote_poster">illistic Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">LOL nice Iggy we picked the same X-Factor player haha</div> LOL.. haha I copied your game thread style too. I thought it'd take too long if I did my way. Haha damn, we posted both our previews 1 minute apart. BTW, anyone wanna post the icing on the cake if ya know what i mean? EDIT: Can a mod combine me and illistic's game threads?
Can we get a mod to combine me and illistic's threads? BTW Illistic, the records are wrong. Raptors are 6-9 now and Knicks sure aren't 10-4 LOL. You probably just forgot to change them from the Mavs game.
Thanks Chutney. I didn't realize he made a game thread until he posted in mine saying that we had the same X-Factor LOL. Yeah he posted his like 1 minute after I did. Predictions anyone? I have the Raptors winning 96-89
Wow, Sam Mitchell surprised me by making the obvious adjustment with the starting lineup. Hopefully Rasho stop Curry from getting a good start. If we take him out of the game early, he'll probably become disinterested.

You'd have to follow the Knicks the past few games. All they've been doing is pounding the ball into Curry. Marbury and Francis have been shooting and playing very poorly in comparison. This looks like it'll be an ugly game.

<div class="quote_poster">Chutney Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Did Bargnani just get dunked on?</div> looks like it, although, i haven't been myself since seeing jagr's girl. the funniest thing about that- is that jagr seemed more interested in the game than his girl, somebody clearly has his priorities all messed up.
q. rich and balkman are killing us. btw- this game has crazy energy from both sides and the crowd. crazy board by kris humpries
Defense is garbage so far. How can let the Knicks get 31 points in the first quarter It looks like it's going to be a long night.
