Cliff, Collinso and Kristic can't hang with Bosh. feed the post early and often, and our offence will run smoothley. Always, Hoffa needs to keep Kristic and Collins off the offensive boards. - Stop the V-INSANITY!: Here's the deal, Vince has been doing everything for the Nets. He's rebounding, passing, scoring, driving, and oh yeah, defending! From knowing Vince's game for 7 years, if you hit him hard few times down the block, he'll stop driving and settles for fade-aways. Look for Sam's plan to keep him off the lane and make him take contested long range shots. - Quality Shots: We take long contested shots out of the flow of the offence, and it's a lay-up on the other end. We can't feed their fasst break points. Everything in the flow of the offence, which should mainly be ran through Chris, you hear that Skip?! ....... MatchUp Of The Game: vs Vince Carter vs Morris Peterson Mo Pete has struggled all season on the road and the raps need him in this game to step up. On offence, he has to step away from the long range and try to get to the free throw line as often as possible to get his offensive game going. Defencivley, he has to keep Carter off the line and make him take the cotested shots. Get throw his skin, and play him aggressive on him will eventually make Vince fade away from his offensive game and starts settling for the outside J. ....... The X-Factor: Jalen Rose Going against his buddy Vince on offence, Jalen will look to expose VC's defence. Jalen should look to go in the post early and often. (Prediction) Rested and freshed off the All Star break where only one member of the team participated in any event throughout the weekend, the Raps should come out energized for this game, let alone the fact that they're playing an old teammate. Raptors win, 107-99. .......

Is Cliff starting? I thought they left the starting lineup and had Cliff off the bench. Also Jaque Vaughn starts at SG, and Ron Mercer also comes off the bench.
Last game, Mercer started I believe. And as of Cliff, Frank said first game he'd come off the bench to bend in, and then he expects him to start.
I could care less about any of the other remaining games, but the games where we face VC, we MUST win. Hopefully all the talk surrounding Kidd wanting out screws up their chemistry and VC will have an off-night, but I don't see that happening. Considering we're one of the worst defensive teams in the league and we're Carter's former team, he will light us up for 45 points (I'm dead serious too). Nets 110 Raps 98
I say Mo does a good job defending Vince holds him to 20 points. Bosh dominates the NJ bigs with his quickness and underrated defence. Raptors by 6 over the Nets 98-92
I think the game will go over 100 points, Bosh should do good, but Cliff could do an okay job on him. Out defense is bad, so Vince will likely score 30+, and Jason Kidd will probably have a triple double. I think we can win 105-100
I can't see us winning over a motivated Vince in his new home court. Nevertheless, the Raptor players know his ways so I might be wrong, but I do believe this game will go down the wire with the Nets running away in overtime. I predict Vince drops 40 and J has a triple double but Bosh will also come up big.
^ lol, are you serious? No man, I'mma hype up that game. A preview will be posted 4 days ahead lol Besides, I'm going to it anyways (And I think you are too, ain't you on the list on RB?).

Quoting Chungster:

The Nets will win 106-103. Vince will drop 47 on his former team, BOOK THAT.
You've said similar statements before, and you ended up being way off, so I can't book that. -- As for the game, I think the Nets will take this one because Kidd and Carter will tear up the Raps, more so Kidd because he'll take anyone we put on him and create for others. Carter will drop 30+ on us, with 4 3's. If Cliff plays a lot, I can see Bosh going for around 16 on 11, 12 shots. If Cliff doesn't play a lot of minutes, I'm gonna say Bosh drops 25. Raps: 102 Nets: 110 We fall to 2-54 when our opponents score 100+ on us.
I hope Hoffa will give Vince a nice welcome back "gift" when he takes it to the basket. Vince will try too hard to show the Raps the kind of player he thinks he still can be so he's gonna struggle, taking a lot of bad shots. I don't think that the Raps have forgiven the fact that Vince admitted that he dogged it earlier this season, so the they have an extra incentive to win. Raps win 93-87. ...and on a sidenote: Chungster needs to check back into reality and stop kissing Vince ass
You guys are taking Cliff too lightly. He light up the Raps when he was still with GS when they played us at the ACC. He's a lot like Marshall, he's an inside presence, he can rebound and he can stretch the D with his 3pt shooting. And same thing with J-Kidd. He's gonna post up on Skip every chance he gets and if we double team, were gonna get burned. CB4 will have a good game IF he stays out of foul trouble. We're such a weak defensive team that he's gonna have to give up some fouls. Sadly, I will have to go with Jersey on this one..theyve been on a roll lately.
