Must tight up the perimeter defence and at some point has got to kick in. Allen Iverson has been tearing everyone up and having his best season, so Rafer and Milt better come prapered or he'll drop 50 on them easily. - Eliminate The Offensive Boards Dalembert and Jackson are very active on the offensive glass, they go after every loose ball, and the Raptors are pretty weak in that area. - Pride: We got embarressed on Friday night losing to the Hawks at home in the middle of their 13 game losing streak. Must come out ready and try to erase that game from the memories. We're better than our record but we got to prove it. ....... Game Matchup: vs Allen Iverson vs Rafer Alston Allen Iverson is basicly one of the best players in the league. He'd score any way you want and you can't stop him. Rafer has to keep him infront if him and just out a hand up for jumpers. He'll get to the free line, we just have to contain his penetrations. On offence, get the team in their offensive sets and watch for Iverson cheating on the passing lanes where he gets most of his steals. Skip must have constant eye contact with the players when running the offence because Iverson is the best at breaking down plays and anticipating passes. ....... The X-Factor: Kyle Korver Korver has been playing great for a second round pick. When ever he's hitting his shots and moving well without the ball, the Sixers are in a great postion because now you have to cover him as well which leaves Iverson with a single defender. Korver gets most of his shots from Iverson penbetrations so Mo or the man who's guarding him must keep an eye on him all the time and don't leave him alone. If we can take Korver out of the game, we have a pretty decent chance at winning. ....... Say What?! (Prediction) After what argubly is the worst loss of the season, the Raps will look to bounce back with against a division rival. Winless againt Philly this season, this game would a good opportunity to get back on track and get respect again. Raptors win, 98-91.

.......

This raptor team can really score, but defense is a major problem. because the starting lineup can't really play defense. i mean alston shouldn't be out there in clutch time. anyway raptors can win this game. because i don't know if webber would bring his A game or not. can't wait for vc's return to toronto. good luck anyway
wtf, we've played 9 more games than the Sixers?? The NBA needs to fix this up big time for next season.. Our key is to try to contain AI as much as we can. Obviously he's gonna breakout against us, we're toronto, but we gotta trap him and force him to give up the ball, and make sure when he passes it, that Korver isn't the one getting the open looks. If it's Iggy, Dalembert or whoever, then I'm fine with that, but we gotta do something about AI and Korver. Bosh always seems to star when he faces elite PF's at home, or just in general, so I expect him to have another huge game, and contain Webber to less than 20. Prediction: Sixers win this in a close one, 105-101. Allen Iverson: 32 Points, 7 AST, 3 STL, 4 TO Chris Bosh: 25 Points, 13 REB, 2 BS, 3 TO
I just don't see the Raptors winning this one, even through Philly's recent strugles. I'm really starting to admire chris bosh and i expect him to have 20 and 9 today at home. Sixer win, 101 - 96.
The Raptors, as much as they'd like to deny it, are ready to throw in the towel. If they lose the game today, they would most certainly be out of the playoffs. So we might be able to see a back-against-the-wall effort today, but the Sixers are too big for us to contain. Peterson may be able to contain Iverson effectively, but he'll go for 30 regardless. Sixers by 7.
Prediction: Raptors Win 103-93 Philly has to get AI nd Webber on the same page Bosh Wit 21 Points 11 REB 3 Blocks 3 TO nd AI wit 31 Points, 8 Assists 4 Steals nd 5 TO. Raps will bounce back this game I think
Iverson should dominate Rafer, I think it's a given that that will happen, so we just have to be prepared for it. Bosh should kill on legged Webber, but Philly could likely put Dalmbert on him, and double him because he's struggled a lot when he get's doubled and denied the ball. We'll see how it goes, but with Webber on him, I expect 20-10 from Bosh. If the Raptors can play some defense they cna win, but I don't know, I see Philly taking this one 101 - 96.

Quoting og15:

The three point barrage is jsut disgusting, man, Marshall and MoPete have gone mad..
Bosh Wit 13 and Marshall wit 18 At The Half
Just wondering, how many more games until we match the Heat's record for consecutive games with a 3 pointer?
Blowout Marshall with 12 3 Pointers...Time Kobe for most 3's in a game. Had a few chances to break it, but 12 is fine with me 38 PTS 8 REB For Marshall off the bench Raps win 128-110. We Had a chance to tie or break (dont remember) our personal record for points in a game, but Milt dribbled the ball out, as he should. Bosh with another double double. I'm happy that we kept Marshall (just for today though).
Donyell Marshall!!! Ties the NBA record for three's, and he could've beaten it too if Pape Sow and Milt didn't get so selfish lol. Records Tied three's made by player with 12 Beat record for three's made by a team with 21 Tied Franchise high points in a game with 128 points

Quoting "og15":

Ties the NBA record for three's, and he could've beaten it too if Pape Sow and Milt didn't get so selfish lol.
I know, but I think it's because the Sixers finally started to guard D-Marsh and they couldn't pass it to him without turning it over. Anyways, I'm really sick and everything, but I just had to come on for this. GO DONYELL! Hey, I wonder what would have happened if Babcock really did trade him. I wasn't exactly mad or happy that Marshall wasn't traded, but now I'm totally glad he's still with the Raps. Araujo really frustrated me when he couldn't sink a bucket but he got 9 off. rebounds i think?? *shrugs* The Raps have got to be out celebrating tonight..for sure! P.S. Did you hear what Chuck said during the game? When Chris and Vince both injured their ankles, Chris played through it even though his was much worse than Vince's.
Wow you gotta give it up to marshall, and the whole team. I bet he's gonna get a fairly hefty contract in the off season. anyway, that was an unbelievable game
Wow... what a game, donyell ties the record for the most 3's!!! too bad he couldnt break it, but w/e. Great performance from, bosh, alston, peterson, and especially marshall. Great game!
