I'm sorry guys, I have not had time to do an official preview and I sincerely apologize. I've been flooded with work and school, but this thread is to talk about tonight's game.
Well, it's not a problem if you seriously can't find any time. On to the game, we should have the momentum of the last win with us still and that would give us a big advantage. If Yao and McGrady have 20+ points each and Yao doesn't get into foul trouble, we should have this one. The most important thing we have to do though is contain Randolph and Abdur-Rahim at the four position. Rockets by 5.
For all those just wondering, the time is 8:00 ET pm today which is November 21. The key to this game is the big men- Yao and Abdur Rahim. If Yao doesn't get shutdown by Abdur Rahim, who is a great defender and low post presence, the Rockets should come away with the win. But, Yao must avoid getting into foul trouble with having to guard Rahim too heavily. However, McGrady must also contribute and put up a decent 20 some point game to bring some defenders and pressure off Yao. He must be aggresive and knock down jumpers or drive into the lane to cause some chaos. It's obvious none of the guards on the Blazers can guard him if he puts his mind into it. Jim Jackson and maybe some role players has to step it up today as well, as it may be a close one and it may just put them over the top. Rockets with the win. 96-89
Rockets up 83-76 with 8 minutes to go in the fourth. Mutombo is having a great game with 15 and 11 in 17 minutes, but Yao is plagued by foul trouble again. He still is doing a great job with the time he's on the court though. Bad shooting night for McGrady, 4-14 so far, but he's already got 11 assists. Looking good right now.

Man I wanted T-Mac go for that triple double. Do you guys think that Lue should start over Ward? I know he wasn't starting material last year and he even admitted it but he plays well. Don't know, I always liked the guy.
Great game for the rockets. Dikembe Mutumbo stepped up with 15 points and 11 rebounds showing what a quality role player he is. McGrady was having a horrible scoring night with 5-15 shooting but made up for it with 11 assists. Yao was in foul trouble for the game but still managed 19 points. This game shows that, if we work together, we come away with a win.
Did you guys notice that JVG teaked the rotation a bit? It looks like he's playing Yao in the 1st quarter even when he gets 2 early fouls, and he's keeping either McGrady or Yao in the game when the Rockets are behind. I like that strategy.

He throws bad passes, and the offense doesn't run as smoothly when he's at point.
Lue starting wouldnt work out, Yao cant work well with him. The reason he had a big night was because he was playing with mutombo, charlie ward on the other hand can work with yao
Lue cannot start for us. He is small and really hasn't had one really good game; although last night he did step up to the plate. He is best suited as an energy guy off the bench to score and pass a bit.
yeah I like Lue off the bench also....the refs get on my damn nerves.....I swear they let players beat the hell out of Yao and he can't even react back....but I'm glad VG finally got the right idea and decided to have at least one of our dynamic duo on the floor all of the time
