Official I am a pissed off Warriors fan thread

Lets hear it. This thread will STAY OPEN until the Warriors get their first convincing win. No, I am not talking about beating the Bulls or Clippers by 3. I want a win. A real win. Lets air out our frustrations. I dont care who the player is. Lets hear it. I dont have the fortune to watch the games so I am going purely on box scores and what I hear on the radio.

1. Is Mussleman still unemployed? Can we hire him back on? I know we cant, but this is the only thing that I can attribute to the Warriors HORRIBLE playing this season. Great Monty, thanks for your help. You have now gone from icon college coach to the quick coach to ever get fired. Thanks alot.

2. Jrich: What the hell is wrong with you? Your new name is Mini Damp until you start playing

3. Dunleavy: Congrats on getting a coach on your side. You are the only one putting up half way decent stats. But how the hell does a player in the NBA get here and shoot at least 1 air ball every game? How does that make you a shooter? I dont air ball shots at all in pick up games. How you do you miss them?

4. Murphy: Are you actually going down low? Good! That is where you belong. Now work on your layups and free throws. A pump fake would be nice too.

5. Fisher: Nice shooting. I guess All-Net was right...

6. Adonal Foyle: I am not even going to talk about this waste of $$. The ONLY reason we signed this guy is because we had NO ONE to play center after Damp got traded.

I hereby change our starting lineup to...

1. Speedy
2. Sesay
3. Najera
4. Biedrens
5. Murphy

What happened to our depth? It looks to me like our depth is depth in scrubs.

may chaney never see the floor again! How many times is that guy going to panic and throw the ball to the wrong team? Yeah D-fish was off a bit tonight, but supposedly Mr. 17 footer Chaney makes shaq at the free throw look good. Why does this guy get any floor time? And why wait til 4 minutes left in the game to put Biedrins in the game. This was the Pietrus mistake of Muss all over again.

Foyle, wow.... Sean Elliot was right about you.... if you were alone in the gym you still couldnt score...

This loss was so pathetic. I don't get Barnett talking about players averages being down refering to J-rich and dunleavy when they sit the whole second half. Then he says what a brilliant move putting Fisher in the game to get back on track. The starters should have played the whole game if that is what it takes to get back on track

i just pray that Chaney goes on the i.r. when pietrus comes back. Can't we just cut the waste of roster space.

WEll at least we have the Bobcats tomorrow night, just threw a bundle on them in a pick em' spread. Not exactly a sure thing but i have to think they will get there first win here before they head to cleveland.

 

Muss is doing the NBA broadcaster thing over the radio while he's not coaching, though he'll probably get offered a job somewhere that needs a fiery coach type.

Musselman update

I am pretty miffed over Foyle, he's been getting few minutes and in those minutes hasn't been producing much. I know the problem is the team's defense (all the perimeter defenders are revolving doors) but still, he's got to step it up and be a leader on defense.

I'm an optimist, though, so I won't continue ranting. One bright spot, for example, is when Pietrus comes back, he should get a lot of minutes, because we might as well give him some experience.

 

My brain's ready to explode. Utterly pathetic games so far. I bet they won't beat the Bobcats even.

 

If I didn't know better, I would have thought that players are boycotting the game for a coaching change.

Total 9 players made 7 baskets in 159 mins??? 3 blown out games in 6 games? Man, I am not even sure we had 6 blown out games in last year. I can't even call this team 'suck' at this point, because that would be mocking the word 'suck'.

At least, I am glad that I didn't say "Well, at least we can't be worse than now" before this game. Because, we just did. Until we lose 0-200 and other team makes all the basket, I won't say that phrase...

 

At this rate we could land the #1 overall draft pick easy. Not unless those stupid ping pong balls decide to fall on another Dunleavy instead of a Yao. It's hopeless!

 

Man, if it were other years, at least we have next year to look for. But with all those signing, we are stuck with current core for at least next 5 years. That's what makes me really depressing. I took 10 years of pain so far. But can I take at least another 5 years?

Here, here! When Pietrus comes back, I am going to feel SOOOO much better. I also think Biedrens can/should get more PT. We have to find a way to get him into the games, especially if we are blown out. Cardinal sounded good on the defense when I was listening to the game. I had to shut it off after the first half.

 

Hey Cardinal got a block on Murphy. That's hilaroius. Getting stuffed by the 6'8 blocking machine Murphy, Murphy, Murphy, hide your head in shame. You can't get stuffed by the Custodian, you're 6'11. Oh well that's my boy, Brian Cardinal for ya, he'll challenge the bigger man.

 

chaney update....first shot an air ball...uncontested..... i know we lack offense but chaney is not the answer he is part of the problem..... when pietrus comes back cahney has to be the guy going on the i.r. ..... every minute chaney is on the floor should be pietrus minutes...

i am not convinced the fisher/claxton on the floor at the same time is a good idea... it works with certain matchups. I am waiting for the team to go big

I think we'll be their second win J/K. Bulls have a good GM, just bad luck with trying to make the pieces fit and having players with constant injuries or attitudes.

 

Just say this ten times and get back to me, "Fisher $37M." What is that? I am more upset about that than anything else. A 6' who does not create for others. What is that? Find a nugget, not a retread. Utterly disheartening losses. No fire. Foyle? I had big hopes for him but maybe he's not getting the chances (touches.) A DNP/Coaches Decision does not send a good signal.

My man Dunleavy at least can make a bucket.

 

Yeah those were kind of dumb FA signings huh? I would have gone for Damon Jones or Rod Strickland or somebody affordable that can make plays happen.

 

That SLAM magazine put it best, something like: "Fisher signed a I-owe-half-of-this-money-to-Shaq 37 million contract."
