If we win, do we make the playoffs.

I wonder who gets the starting nod next to Damian in the backcourt tonight? I know Wesley isn't all-world or anything, but not having him for an extended period is gonna hurt.

Yes it is. His ability to knock down 3s really opens up the lane for guys to work. I bet he starts Barton. He's not deserving, but who else is there!

Actually what about Nolan? They played well together in Vegas.

Nolan, Barton, Price, Claver ... I don't really think it makes much difference at all.

    That's what I was thinking.

Hate to say it but I hope Price is out too. That leaves Will, or Nolan, or Babbitt with Nico sliding over to SG.

Time to forget about the playoffs and get serious about making a trade -- or barring that setting up a good off-season strategy.

    We have a chance
Wes missed games earlier this season and Claver started in his place in all of the games.

I say we start Nolan Smith, give the other team rib cramps from laughing, then run them out of the garden.

OK, this got an audible -- not quite "out loud" -- laugh from me. Nice.

The other times in this situation, Stotts started Batum and Claver. They are my favorite player his rookie year, and my 2nd-favorite player this year.

Claver misses all his shots because he hurries for NBA speed, but he made a couple of long ones in preseason. But he is so active, fluid, and mobile for a guy 2 inches taller than Batum. I still say he'll eventually be another Batum.

    Claver time!

I can't wait for Barton to jack up a shot in heavy traffic.

Away commentators yet again for a Trail Blazers home game.

The NBA hates Rice, and Barrett.

For as much as people say Hickson gives up (and I don't doubt that) he sure gets a lot himself.
