Kreider must go. Period. That's the first thing. Also, if you listen to that self entitled bitch Zibanejad talk like his NMC is going to save his dumbass here it tells you all you need to know why he sucks now. Message should be sent. Accept a trade or you will be scratched every fn game until you do.

I think Kreider and K. Miller are top of the list that need to go, Schneider needs to be in a top 4 role next season.

As for Zibanejad, it isn't just his NMC IMO, it won't be easy to find a team willing to take on an $8.5M cap hit for 5 more long years after the season he just had, even if he was willing to waive his NMC. Unless you can pull off a miracle, I believe the best approach with Zibanejad is hoping this embarrassing season lights a fire under him, and he comes back rededicated to being a hard-working top player again, who shoots the darn puck. What happened with Panarin last season maybe can be a guide for Zibanejad. And if not, the new coach MUST hold him accountable next season. He cannot continue to play 20 mpg if he is lazy and won't shoot.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lafreniere gets dealt.

Everything needs to be on the table, including dealing the 11th pick in the draft.

That’s the thing. Teams aren’t going to take on your massive salary problems because you need to make changes. The two I’d like to see moved are Kreider and Miller. I also feel teams would be in
on dealing for them. Kreider just doesn’t provide enough of a game anymore for what he’s being paid. Miller needs a new start somewhere.

Kreider needs to go no matter what. He offers very little and keeps getting rewarded being on PP1.

He provides nothing at even strength to merit being in the top 2 lines, nor does he hit enough to merit being on the bottom 2 lines. The only area where he’s a threat is on the PK but that’s it.

I don't think Panarin will get any kind of suspension, but it certainly is a mark on his name. He needs to get past it over the summer and come in focused in Sept.

If the league isn’t gonna suspend him, which I hear they’re not then I’m not trading him because he actually fucking produces. Doesn’t seem like it was that big of a deal. The chick got fired and maybe she had an axe to grind not that he wasn’t a scumbag, but the league didn’t think much of it.

I’m really disappointed with Kreider. I didn’t think he was the sulking bitch type. Him and Zibanedouche are two major reasons I would love to see them bring Torts back.

Agree 100%, I've been saying the same thing, Kreider and K. Miller would be at the top of my realistic list. You cannot give Miller a long-term big money deal.

I highly doubt they move Panarin. His numbers in the regular season are very good, and you need guys who can produce to get you there, plus he only has one season left on his deal, so I don't think they have to move him. Also, the league already said they consider the Panarin situation closed, so no suspension from what I read.

Zibanejad, I just cannot see him being moved with 5 long years remaining at $8.5M. Hope he works hard this summer and comes back ready to prove himself next season.

I love the NHL playoffs, but I am very much looking forward to the week leading up to the draft/the draft, and then July 1. Should be a lot to talk about for the Rangers.

Outside of his Carolina heroics in the playoffs definitely very disappointed.

What is the plan to replace KAndre? We are already short one top 4 LHD and there is limited top end org depth at the spot. How do we replace two in one offseason and with what cap?

Key had a bad season as did every other defenseman. This coaching staff was incapable of development defenseman. What Key has going for him is he’s the best skater back there and probably the only one who can skate the puck out of trouble and move up ice. There are decent tools there to work with.

I’m not his biggest fan but listing him as one of the “must go”s with the tools he has and the current state of the D is crazy to me.

It's more a question of dumbass Drury getting the proper return which so far he has shown he sucks at.

I am not hung up on L or R, I think that is overblown.

    My D plan is:

    1. Dealing K. Miller, and as was stated the return needs to be very good, which unfortunately I doubt Drury can accomplish, but I digress. I cannot fathom giving him a long-term solid money contract, that would be a big mistake IMO.
    2. Schneider must be in a top 4 role IMO; he has earned it.
    3. FINALLY go out and add a legit top pair LD to play with Fox. He needs that partner, like Beukeboom was for Leetch.

So, my top pair would be legit top pair LD added with Fox. My 2nd pair would be Schneider and Borgen. My 3rd pair would be any combo of Soucy, Vaak, Robertson, other. That's how I would reshape the D.

Upfront, deal Kreider. Go add a legit top 6 wing. And maybe look for another good solid 2-way forward to complete the 3rd line. And, I would absolutely make the 11th pick available in the right package, which again unfortunately I doubt Drury can accomplish.

Add in the motivation the team should have after this putrid season, and away we go for a Cup run next season.

You want younger guys to have a bigger role on the team but you aren’t willing to move that asshole Panarin lol. I’ve been fucking saying for over a year you need to move that guy.

You can say move anybody. You tell me the team who wants or can take a $12 million cap hit right now.

He has one year left on his contract. Retain 50% for a year otherwise you lose him for nothing next year
