    Trading for McGrady
If McGrady wants out, what would be the best options for Orlando via trade?

Of the top ten 'opt out' free agents, it appears that Kobe, Troy Hudson, and Karl Malone are the only confirmed players wanting to opt out. Dampier and Payton have expressed their interest in playing for other teams, but there is still many speculations. The only player I would consider playing for Orlando on the 'opt out' list would be Dampier, as he provides a low post presence. The other players appear out of reach due to the salary cap.

The free agent market is lacking the big names this upcoming offseason, unlike last year.

Signing Carlos Arroyo/Jamal Crawford would be an upgrade from Lue. Both players run the point well, and could contribute to our team.

I say to either go for Hudson, Payton or Nash, Payton being the most preferred because of his defensive effort. Since you're probably getting a C or a PG in the draft, probably a C, then go after the PG so that your team is set in the major departments for positions.

Carlos Arroyo would be a very nice choice for us. Like Ice said, he would be an upgrade and he is a Central Florida local, so he'll be coming home.

    Dixon invited to camp

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Dixon, the former Edgewater High standout, has been invited to the Orlando Magic summer camp that will begin next week and include players such as Keith Bogans, Britton Johnsen and their two first-round draft picks.</div>
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Dixon is the 6-foot-11, 320-pound center whose weight once soared to 425 pounds before he left Florida State and finished his college career at Western Kentucky.</div>

    Seems like he's got size.
Maybe he can help out Cato on post...

Anyone think Ostertag would sign for the million dollar exception, I think he would help our squad next year
