While I'm disappointed that one of the top O-Linemen didn't fall to the Steelers in round 1, I'm very pleased with who they took. Round 2 was just a huge bonus and helped make up for the Nuggets disappointing performance today. I'll give Day 1 at least a B+

I really like the picks of Davis, Sweed, & Dixon. Dennis Dixon IMO will be Slash part deux not a QB & is still in the Braves farm system (A/AA) as an OF.
I think Arians will explore what he can do with Dixon, but the main reason for drafting him was to get a young QB to groom into the #2 role. Davis will be groomed to be yet another monster OLB. If he has a good camp, he'll get a ton of time this season backing up Harrison and Woodley. Also, this fully allows Lawrence Timmons to focus on becoming an ILB as Farrior is now 33.
Rashard Mendenhall is frightening. I can't wait to see that guy run over Ed Reed head first, lol. <BOOM!>
I think the Steelers did what good franchises do, staying loyal to their board and not to their needs, getting the best player available in mendenhall and sweed....I dont know how it eventually pans out, but this strategy is generally successful
