I have gotten to the point that it comes down to explode, or vent. Refs continually get it wrong, call games with obvious bias, and even conduct themselves (at times) with behavior that would draw a personal fowl if they were a player. What bothers me the most is that if you are a coach or a player and voice a complaint, then you are punished for having an opinion, and then singled out for even worse calls during the next game. I thought that freedom of speech was a freedom gaurunteed by the first amendment. I guess its only a freedom if you can afford the fines and the loss of a few games.
The coach of the Saints will be financially destitute after his comments today. It won't matter that he is correct, or that it is his right as citizen of the USA to voice his opinion.
The coach of the broncos can easily verify the costs of having opinions. Having watched the bronco game today it was a surprise that Putzier wasn't penalized early in the game for using his head to stop a defenders helmut. To the best of my knowledge there is no way to comment to the officials group and I doubt they are interested in anyones opinions other than there own.

Worst group of officials i've ever seen. The last call was bullshit, the offensive pass interference on Az Hakim was bullshit, numerous defense pass interferences on both sides were bullshit.

    The whole game was bullshit.

Saints should have won that game by 21.

    Falcons really aren't that good.

The Saints made the falcons look very ordinary. There seems to be a lot of penalty flags this season!

The price of Penalty flags has gone up so the NFL has told the refereeing bodies to throw them at every opportunity, so you get more for your money!

I saw one the other day at the toin coss, someone called it too late!

With so many flags, it makes the games less fun. There was one play were Ken Lucas made a great play on the ball and swatted it down and the officals called pass interference, even the announcers called its a BS call

I didn't watch the game. I will admitt that the refs this year have been a little off on a lot of calls and have been flag happy. It's the way the NFL is now a days. Whether there really are that many penalties or whether the refs are being to "strict"

I will say this though. I kind of feel sorry for the refs. Not blaming anyone on here even though we've all done it. Whenever our respective team loses we always blame the refs first. Kind of sad really. We all do it sometimes though.

I think its def. biased nowadays and it really pisses me off. Calls are just terrible lately and have been screwing teams over.

One bad game against division rivals and the Falcons aren't that good. That's ridiculous. That was an ugly game, and the Falcons did not look good at all. In the end we found a way to win and thats what the good teams do.
