VERY active offseason for Orlando - Hopefully I remembered everyone on the list.

Overall our new roster looks decent, however theres always the question mark of how we will gel come tipoff. The only position we need to work on is depth at center, but being in the east almost every team is facing that very problem. (Except Miami [IMG])

I think this roster will be the roster (with a few modifications) that captures the division title this year. Miami although they have Shaq and Wade they do not have much other wise than that so I blieve Shaq will wear down like Tracy Mcgrady, Baron Davis, and other one man shows have over the past couple of years. I think the only real lose we faced this off season that actually mattered that we did not compensate correctly for was Reece Gaines, because all though we have Jameer nelson adn Steve Francis there is no question in my mind that eventually Gaines will be good.

What makes me wonder about old Magic front office personal is that we traded Garriek (sp?) and Gooden so that basically means that we traded Mike Miller who at the time was Mcgrady's second option, best friend, and probably one of the most talented players on the team. Though it eventually was all for the best I can't help, but wonder about where we would be had we not made some of the trades we did with players like Ben Wallace and more.

The Magic have started over, and are looking toward a new era of Magic basketball, with Tracy out the Magic will be a new team, and will have a new playing style and everything.

The Magic have added lots of youth to their roster, but also have few vets who can lead this team to sucess.

Most things are looking positive for the Magic, and their future is looking bright, with Dwight, Jameer, and Francis, soon Jameer could play pg and they could switch Francis to sg and they would be a more powerful team, along with Dwight those three players could be players to watch in the next few years.

Another thing thats looking good for the Magic is Grants comeback, that IMO could only be a positive thing for the Magic, who could use a vet like Hill who can probally still produce.

The Magic also have a very solid defensive team and they should be able to stop teams throughout the season, with Cato and Dwight downlow, and with player like Steve Francis who are energetic defenders, and with players coming off the bench like Tony Battie, the Magic have a really solid defensive team.
