If the kid line picks up where they left off this team will be in great shape, and Laf and Kakko will both put up 20-25g and 50+ pts. I'm not huge on Chytil at C but if it works with the other two guys then go with it. We will see if Blais works out on the top line, not sure there, and Kravtsov should be fine either way with his skill playing with Trochek/Panarin.

Lol didn’t the training camp just started and we haven’t even played one pre season game? How the hell does GG already know what lineup will be on opening night? I don’t believe it Kravtsov already earned his top six minutes

It’s like I told you they don’t want Lafreniere to break out next year because they can’t afford to pay him. Yes they are that incompetent.

Some dumbass on OTG posted this.

"Kravtsov gets what he wants and is put into a top 6 role"

That sums up why we cheer for a loser organization with one cup in over 80 years. So a crybaby Russian gets what he wants. A guy who bailed on the team like Lias did who was torched for it. Yet, Lafreniere and Kakko who busted their ass here get a bottom six role. This is what LOSER organizations do.

You should consider rooting for another team. You may not be so angry.

You're not a real Rangers fan if you aren't angry if you see dumb shit like that and are happy with one cup in over 80 years. I didn't think it was possible for this dumb fuck organization to screw Lafreniere and Kakko more than they have their entire time here but they still managed to do it. Sucking off a russian pussy who bailed on the team.

Just saying...you clearly have major disagreements with how the team is run to the point that it angers you. Maybe you're better off following a different team? Complaining endlessly on this message board and whatever other ones you participate on goes nowhere. If you think the decision makers put any stock (and I mean ANY) into online message boards you are deluded.

Stepan didn't want to believe it when I told him this dumb fuck organization wouldn't put Lafreniere on the first pp unit because they don't want to have to pay him because they suck managing the cap. Well, looky here now. You put him on the kid line again, no pp most likely, there is no fucking way in hell either of those kids will get 45+ points. This is still a LOSER organization.

Dump i'll bet you $50 Lafreniere has over 45 pts this year. On the 3rd line last year he had 20g and that was before the kid line really kicked in. He will get ample PP time this year, maybe even on PP1 to start, but either way he will get points on PP1 or PP2. If he and Kakko are as good as we all hope then they will create points wherever they are. As for Kravtsov, he deserved a 2nd chance and now that he's back he's perfect to fit in on the 2nd line with VT/Panarin. You could argue that KK should be there and not Krav yet but why break up a line that worked well at the end of the year, just to say you're moving Kakko up for seniority?

You move Lafreniere and Kakko up because that's what every fucking organization with a brain does with the 1 and 2nd overall picks in the draft. They don't put a bunch of kids on a line, give them 15 or less minutes of icetime and don't put them on the first PP unit. One time in history the Oilers put together a kid line with the first overall, 7th overall and 2nd rounder in Graves and retards in our fan base think it's a good idea. It only worked out that year because the Oilers had Messier in his prime who won the MVP that season. You don't develop franchise talents by putting them with kids on a line together and not putting them on the first PP unit. Go look at McKinnon, Matthews, Hischier and Hughes. All forwards who got a ton of ice time and pp time as rookies. By their second or third year they were light years ahead offensively of where Lafeniere and Kakko are. The facts don't lie. The Rangers are dumb as dog shit with those two guys. They are doing it to Lafreniere again because they don't want to pay him at the end of season if he breaks out.

Look at it from other perspectives. If they do play on the third line they will likely play other teams shitty third or fourth lines that they will eat up for dinner. That’s what they did in the playoffs so they will put up a lot of points on the board. it’s a long season. Too early to freak out over their ice time

If Blais doesn't work out with Kreider/Z they may have to end up putting Laf or Kakko there anyway but we'll see. Laf gets to stay on his normal side with KK/Chytil.

the playoffs keep getting brought up like they tore it up. Lafreniere had 9 points in 20 games, basically the same (prorated) production he had in the regular season. That’s not impressive.

Exactly 31. Kakko had 5 points. That line played well some games but they never dominated a game offensively. Not once. It's mind boggling we have fans that still defend this teams incompetent stupidity with Lafreniere and Kakko. It's pathetic when you look at this organization and how great they are developing young goalies and defenseman and are the complete opposite with forwards. You watch, Barron will slowly start to carve out a very nice career.

GG said in the interview that Kravstov showed up early for camp and earned the spot for preseason but it's subject to change - time to hype it into a screw the kids conspiracy! Laf was 7th on the team in PP ice time - 93 minutes and managed 13 SOG, Kakko 53 minutes 8 SOG - has nothing to do with coaching and everything to do with effort. Yes the Rangers have a long and storied history of losing but last year they took a new approach and focused on the grit needed for postseason success. Who gives a shit about the past?

Thankfully the Kravtsov thing got ironed out(for now), we need him to be a big piece going forward with his cheap salary for another few years.

Personally, I think the kid is a pussy. I don't know how he will ever play NHL playoff hockey.

Rydahl is someone who could surprise and earn a spot over Carpenter or Hunt.

Dump, since he's been here Kakko has been his own worst enemy with all his injuries and quite frankly a reluctance to shoot which will hopefully change this year. He's still only 21 and plenty of time to grow. I see your point more with Laf on the PP as I thought he fit better than strome did and despite the fact we had a top PP laf in for strome would only have made it better imo. Laf's line situation was harder as who would you take out: Kreids who scored 52 goals and was the best front net presence in hockey or panerin, who Im not a fan of his postseason play but was one of the top 5 players in hockey. Laf also is just 21 and is getting better and better. He's young and has time to grow. I think at this time patience is the way to go at this point with them. Im looking forward to the season and I especially want to see if a young, cheap Kravtsov can produce for us. If he does and after all was the 9th overall draft pick our rangers are going to flourish. and if he doesn't there is still plenty of time before the trade deadline to get him for something. I'm not a big fan of adding Kane to the mix. I hope we stay the course this year and get to the finals. We still have the best goalie in hockey and a defense that's young and a year more experienced and amongst the best in hockey including a recent past Norris winner. The future is both now and bright with our rangers.
