Vervon Davis, 6'3'' 250 lb TE from Maryland ran an unofficial 4.38....that pretty much makes him a top-10 pick unless he fall flat on his face in other drills or gets maimed before the draft....
Veron Davis is just amazing. He is a beast of a TE. We know he can catch the ball, but how is his blocking? I think Veron Davis doenst get past the Rams at 11. Another guy with a huge combine is Chad Jackson. He ran like a 4.37. He had a good year this year and he is challenging Santiono Holmes for the #1 reciever taken.

Everyone regarded him as one of the best TE prospects ever. I figured more like a mid 4.4 though. A 4.38 is amazing. I think the Bills may look at him at pick #8.
There seems to be a trend starting with big, fast TE's. Regardless, 4.38 is amazing. I don't care how he blocks - that can be taught. Speed like that cannot.

Even if Andrew Walter (last yr's 4th rounder is QB), Oakland would finally have the type of offense Crazy Al wants.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (bakes781)</div><div class='quotemain'>DE/LB Manny Lawson of NC State ran a 4.43 in the 40 which is better than most WRs. Now that's scary!</div> Yeah I think he's considered a top 20 pick now with that time. He's brought his stock up to that of Tamba Hali.

Now that's scary!</div> Lawson is going to be a nasty linebacker. He cant be an everydown DE, but maybe a 3rd down pass rusher because i think the biggest he has ever been is like 245. But he has lots of speed, and nice tackling. He is going to be a steal for whoever gets him because he is a twenner right now. But he can flat out play, if he would have been 280 he would be a top 10 pick.
