Have any of u herd of this kid 6'8 155 Pounds and his just turned 13 kids is big, they compare him to LeBron James when he was that age but he is bigger then James at the age of 13. Kid plays in Kentucky he is in the middle school but plays ball on the Varsity team cuz he domanates the Jr high kids. Just wondering if any of u have herd of him.

I have heard about him before. I still think it is way too early to call him the next superstar like some people have. Physically he is unbelievable in his talent. I havent seen him play but i have heard great things. He has unbelievable size for his age though.
He is not 6-8. Mayo is around 6-4 maybe. He started in 7th and 8th grade. Averaged about 22 a game for both years. He isn't even in HS and already has like 1500 pts. He has his own website. Mayo is SICK, he's an incredible player that runs the floor in like 3 steps. He'll be a huge player in the NC2A, he's already made a promise to go to college and not make the jump. ...but of course, a rookie max contract in the NBA might change a guys mind pretty damn fast.
I wouldn't really listen to him about not making the jump when he still has 4 more years of high school. Telfair said he was going to college, and now he is leaning towards the pros.
i don't understand all the hype.... im in the same grade as OJ and went to nationals for 2003 .... and there were plenty of guys bigger/stronger playing at a higher level.. and most guys are from the D.C/Maryland/Northen Virginia area where there is competitive basketball... I see the hype comes because as a 7th grader he played Varsity basketball, but then again he was wayyyy better then his whole damN team.... if he was on Oconnell, Gonzaga's, or Dematha's (highschool in the WCAC confrence)... he wouldn't be playing Varsity as a 7th grader... im not tryin to be a hater, i understand these things.. juss some things are ridiculus
this is very messed up.... this whole OJ mayo hype... i am in his graduating class... class of 2007 and i went to Nationals just recently.. i saw guys wayyy betta with more skills then OJ example : Drenzo Hudson from North Carolina.... but then again the hype comes because OJ played varsity as a the grader... but we all are for getting teh team he played for... he was allmost the tallest guy on their squad... if he played at a highschool that is in the WCAC league.. (D.C/Maryland/Northen Virginia schools).. i don't think he'd have a chance to play varsity as a 7th grader... it is a whole different situation.. im not a hater.. juss stating the facts....
O.J. Mayo Beasty O.J. Mayo is a dog and all you fake people. O.J. is better than every one and i would know because. I GO TO NORTH COLLEGE HILL HIGH SCHOOL and I am in the 9TH GRADE. And if you dont believe me we have a couple other guys like Height, J.R., Bill, and P.J. OJ mayo scored 29 points in the first half against a division 1 team
Hey guys it is true, im play on varsity basketball for Fort hamilton A1 in brooklyn (best division) and we get this magazine monthly, forgot the name of it, but oJ mayo is on the cover, he is 14 or 15 years old and in Junior high he plays for varsity, trust me its a fact. He is i think 6'6 or 6'8. He is real good because he has the same abilities as Lebron, he can put the ball down on the floor and play all positions from 1 to 5, at 14/15 the centers he plays against are his size or even smaller. I played against him in a tournament last year, he is really good.
OJ mayo is real good. Hes in my gym class so i played him. I am 6'4'' and i am 15 and he is only half an inch to an inch taller than I. He is good though because when he shot the ball it was like wow. I saw Lebron play in high school and i jus saw OJ play verse ccd and he was awesome he looked way better than lebron for real. Our school is division 3 but so was lebrons i think
