    And that makes us 0-2.

The best game to steal away is always the first and the refs stole a win from us. So we're down, but not out. Better defense on the 3-point line, maybe better reffing at home with a fanatic crowd.

I think we'll make this a 2-2 series and see how it goes in Dallas.

We CAN win this series. I have faith.

Whatever anyone says we were by FAR the underdogs, this start should have been expected. Just gotta protect home court and were back in this.

That fourth quarter was disgraceful. This team looks defeated. With that kind of effort, I don't see us doing anything.

You'd have a hard time convincing me right now that Portland is the better team. We'll see what happens from here on out, but so far Dallas just looks better than us.

We had control of that game in the first half but let them hang around. Then two old farts start playing like it was 2000 and we look lost on offense in the second half. Not very encouraging.

They got WIDE OPEN looks. I too thought it was flukish in the third, but we gave them 0 resistance on D in the fourth. It was pathetic.

It's not flukish when you consistently leave the guy WIDE open.

Dirk's the best player in this series. LMA's not far behind. To quote Simmons, Stein and Bucher we have the next-best 4 players.

So no, I'm not worried until we lose a home game. And I'm not worried about Kidd and Peja continuing to shoot lights-out. I'm a bit concerned that Nic can't seem to guard Dirk one-on-one, and LMA might have to. If that tires him out, we need other players to step up on offense.

Dirk is too tall and has a shot Nic can't block or even pressure. All he can do is try and deny him the ball and force him to shoot the fade. Then, when Dirk is untouched but flails, we need the refs to make the right non call.
