    awww crap!
the one fight at 185 that was of interest for Anderson Silva at this time. I love Cote, but umm how is he that different Chris Leben?
I guess this means Bisping will be fighting for the title in early 2009 if he keeps winning, but he'll get crushed too.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>MMARated.com has learned that UFC middleweight fighter Yushin Okami has recently suffered a broken hand and thus a potential title fight pitting Okami and Anderson Silva, once thought to be slated for September or October, has now been put on hold.

We've also learned that if Silva leaves the Octagon tomorrow night without any major injuries there are plans to book Patrick Cote as his next opponent, possibly this Fall as well.

Currently, the UFC has two October shows booked: UFC 89 in Birmingham, England, on October 18th and UFC 90 in Chicago, IL on
    October 25th.</div>

Eh... the fight didn't hold much interest for me. Neither does the Silva/Cote fight, really.

I agree that Bisping seems to be the next best at middleweight. I think he would beat Okami and Cote.

I still think we are going to be seeing an Okami/Silva fight, it will just get pushed back for him to recover, much like the Evans/Liddell fight got pushed back. Okami is one of the few to have beaten Silva, even if it was because of Silva getting disqualified and it's something I'm sure Silva would want to get back just because of the way the last fight was lost with Okami not really doing anything to have won. So I still think they have it, just push it back.

I definately agree that Bisping is probably the one at middleweight, I think, would be most likely to pressure Silva a bit. I don't think he would win, but I think he could push him.

Part of the deal the UFC made with Spider is that if he is going to fight in two weight classes, he needs to fight more frequently, like once every three months. I think if Okami is out for an extended period of time they will slide Cote in there.

I think it's the other way around Speeds.
Silva came to Dana and said he needs to fight more often.. I think this was Dana's solution to the request.
