Rehab appears to be coming along fine for Nationals starting pitcher Scott Olsen, and he could be on schedule to rejoin the club soon, manager Jim Riggleman said.

Riggleman, speaking before Friday night's game against the Marlins at Sun Life Stadium, said Olsen had a "positive" rehab start five days ago.

"He came out of it with no complaints, feeling stronger, all the positive comments you like to see after a guy pitches," Riggleman said of Olsen, who has been on the disabled list since May 23 because of inflammation in his left shoulder. He started the season 2-2 with a 3.77 ERA.

Riggleman said he's not sure when Olsen's next rehab start will be, but it could be this weekend for Class A Hagerstown. He was also unsure how many more rehab starts the left-hander will need before rejoining the MLB club.
