    Doesn't surprise me based on what we've heard about Neil. Just a shame if he bolts in Year 1 of his contract.

    Olshey is gone if they offer him the lakers gm spot. I wouldnt be upset tbh. Pretty sure the organization already felt like neil would bolt at some point. Many of us have heard that time and time again from people in the organization

    Good question. Did Jerry West do it? I know it's been done with coaches (Larry Brown?) but I can't think of a GM.

    Given that they had Chris Paul in the bag and then the NBA took him and gave him to Olshey, there might be some bad blood...

    But actually, Olshey's comparative success with the Clippers might make the Lakers overlook the Blazers' mediocrity. They might value his ability to land key players in a big market.
