The La Crosse Spartans fell behind 26-0 early in the third quarter Saturday and lost to the Omaha Beef 40-20 in an IFL game. La Crosse, which fell to 0-2 this season, had just 149 total yards of offense and turned the ball over four times. Starting quarterback Buddy Rivera completed four of 12 passes for 60 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions and rushed for 58 yards.
