Don't look now, but this St. Mary's big guy might be working himself onto the 2nd Round Bubble. I'm not a believer that he in fact can make the league with his horrible defense and sloth foot speed but everyone is drinking the kool aid  I've seen him for 4 years now, and I'm just not sold on his body type as he has not really developed his body at all. Do you guys think a year in maybe the D-League, maybe he can improve his defense and physical stature in general?

I agree with you completely. Hes just too slow/unathletic. Not an NBA player at all. He'll probalby get a second round flier from some team but hes a poor man's Aaron Gray.

Since this other guy's name was brought up... Zoubek or Samhan? Who do you take? Obviously not at all the same players. But does Samhan do one thing really well? He dominated a couple NCAA Tournament teams that couldn't match up. So what?

Zoubek all day. I think Samhan measures out around 6'10. Hes a terrible athlete by NBA standards and I don't think his skills are anywhere near NBA quality. He doesn't rebound well. Terrible mobility. I really can't see him succeeding at all offensively and hes certainly not going to do any good on defense.

Zoubek is probably a legit 7 foot. He'll obviously be on the lower end of NBA athletes but I think he has adequate athleticism which coupled with his size, toughness, rebounding, general intelligence, etc. will be enough to make him stick in the league.
