Overbay you S U C K ! All these runs are scored due to your stupidity.

Not to mention that because of your blunder Kuroda has had to throw an extra 30 pitches.

Just checked in on the game, can't believe that the Yankees are letting Lackey punk them out.

1st & 3rd with one out (Ortiz btw is on 3rd) Ball is hit to Overbay, Ortiz is running & would have been out by a mile had Overbay come home. But instead he went for the double play & threw high to 2nd (safe there) & with a fast runner he was safe on the throw back to 1st. Ortiz scores & everybody is safe.

On a play like that a little leaguer would have known to go home first. Total brain freeze by Overbay.

Unbelievable, Yankees need a win today to take the series. I think BUFF is pitching tomorrow and his track record against Boston is not to good.

Those who like Overbay simply have made a decision to lower the bar to rationalize him clearing it. Sorry - the bar has not been lowered, and Overbay is a bum.

It's just been a real strange game as far as the Yankees are concerned. It started with the bad calls and it just seemed to have taken all the air out of the Yankees. I know it shouldn't but it did. If I was Girardi, I would have been tossed on the play at 3B, Now he pulls Gardner, I may have to join Pasta.

Like I said though with a man on third (especially a fat slow man) with less then 2 outs Overbay should know where the ball should go if its hit to him. He's been around the game long enough to know better. This cost us 3 runs. Just no excuse for it.
