A day after completing a workout with the Bulls in Chicago and indicating he would bypass a similar session with the Heat, Derrick Rose has made plans to meet with the other team at the top of Thursday's NBA Draft.

Rose's representative, B.J. Armstrong, the former Bulls championship guard, confirmed Friday that Rose is scheduled to meet with the Heat today in Los Angeles.

"Derrick will be seeing the Miami Heat, as expected, because of the protocol," Armstrong said. "We'll see them in Los Angeles and he'll be working out with those guys [today] and the staff, so that he can meet them, as well."

The Bulls hold the No. 1 pick in the draft, with the Heat in possession of the No. 2 selection.

The freshman point guard has spent much of his time in Los Angeles since leading the University of Memphis to the NCAA championship game.

While the Heat was in Los Angeles last week to scout several clients represented by Armstrong's firm, Rose was not among that group.

"Derrick is only going to see two teams," Armstrong stressed.

"He saw the Bulls the last couple of days. And the first time he'll see Miami is [today]."

Armstrong said Rose's previous uncertainty about a session with the Heat was a matter of the guard allowing his representatives to handle such matters.

"Let me make it very clear what's going on here, so there's no type of controversy here," Armstrong said. "This young man, along with Michael Beasley, are both projected in the top two in this draft. And in order for us to have him keep focus on what it is he's doing, what we did, and we made this very clear with Miami, and are making it very clear now, is that I said the first place we're going to go, we're going to work with Chicago.

"Then, from that point, we will, once we get done with there, then we will talk with Miami."</div>
