Normally in my opinion, Lakers without KB were just dull and dumb. The highlights of this game I previously saw was how the chemistry worked with Amare's back on court after last season's absence. I didn't see Lakers stand a chance, to be honest.
Pretty much as I predcited in the 1st qtr, Lakers werent good enough to defend the suns attacks. They scored, but with so many difficulties. Barbosa caused a lot of trouble for lakers, and their defense seemed not very effective, so did their behavior in the offensive end.
I chose not not watch the 2nd qtr. I thought it would turn into a brutal massacre. I was much cooler to accept a lose rather than witness it to happen.
Shocking really, Lakers were only trailed by single digit and took that into the 2nd half. I was stunned @ how they did it, and regretted not be there with them.
I didn't know where the momentum came from but there it was, and continued to work. Tho badly injuried in the first qtr, but far from defected: I guess there's no phrase like give up in the dcitionary of warriors.
Congrats, lakers, not only for the winning on the opening night, but also a spirit that sustains a team!
