Just a bunch of hot air from sore losers. Any company worth working for will offer healthcare, as is the case now. It will be even more important to workers than it is now. Those stingy companies who don't will have to scrape the barrel for employees, and they will not prosper.
Maybe, but I think the big companies are also smart. They will simply add Obamacare as a menu option in their benefit package. If the workers pick it instead of, say Kaiser, they get several hundred more dollars in their paycheck. This is part of the overall strategy in bringing about a national single payer system and eliminationg non union insurance companies. Now, if the health care companies were even smarter, they would have encouraged unionization of the work force and rather than being systematically shut down, they would have received federal bling for their retirement plans.
Research indicates that you're wrong, and that many employees would be willing to continue working for their employers even without health coverage (although many would expect to be compensated more for that). I have health coverage, and I'm glad that I do, but I'd prefer to make, say, 60% of what my employer pays to cover me more in salary. I'm (reasonably) young and healthy and have no dependents. I'd be willing to take the cash now and take my chances Ed O.
