Ok. So we have seen the Lakers come from a 20 point deficit and beat the Rockets, we have also beaten the Spurs, are undefeated in the Pacific Division and we just beat the hottest team in the NBA. All this with Kobe performing like an MVP and with awesome role players like Turiaf, Farmar, Smush, LUUUUKE, Cook, and Vladman. Yeah I know i did not mentioned Lamar and Kwame but I think the Lakers are one piece away from being NBA Champion contenders. But who will that be? I think its time to make the Big Move IMO? We are a KG away from being champion contenders and the way the Lakers are playing without Lamar, Kwame and Chris lets trade them for KG. My first trade sceneriosn will be....
Kwame, Chris, and Mackie, for KG?
    Second Trade scenerio.....
Lamar, Chris and McKIe for KG.
What do you guys think? I think its time.
I'm sure the Timberwolves will give up KG for Lamar and Kwame its a great start for a rebuilding process. Both players are young and are starting to find themselves.

The Lakers are one piece away, but I don't necessarily feel it's a superstar we need. I'm confident in this current team challenging anyone in a 7 game series. The only piece I feel this team could use is a lockdown perimeter defender who can guard three positions PG, SG, or SF.

Right now Minnesota is on a 4 game win streak and have the 7th seed in the playoff race. Randy Foye is starting to produce for the team, so I doubt the TWolves are looking to deal KG. They're probably content on making it to the playoffs this season and then hope to upset their 1st round opponent.

I will not trade away Odom and Kwame for Kevin Garnett. Personally, I feel that Lamar Odom is too important for the triangle, and when he was healthy, I'd prefer Odom over Garnett since Odom was pretty much having the same season (stat wise) as KG. Plus, Odom is the "glue" to the triangle offense. He's the one that keeps everything together.

To be honest with you, I don't feel that we must make a move for a "big name superstar" to put us over the top. I like where we are now, and this team has the best team chemistry I have ever seen (don't believe me? watch the bench, they are constantly cheering on their teamates). Personally, I feel all we need is a good, consistent starting point guard, because when healthy, we don't really have any holes elsewhere. This team is just way too deep

OK. Maybe we don't want to let Lamar go but we could defenitely trade Kwame, McKie, and Chris two expiring contracts and a tough post defensive player. And even though the Wolves have won 4 in a row. I still dont see them making the playoffs.

I agree. I'm not comfortable with trading away the only pieces Minny would want, namely Odom, Bynum and Kwame.

Even though I think we need better production at the C and PG spot, I think we'll be OK in the future with Bynum and Farmar.
Though, the main piece we need is a shooter, that constantly hits the open shot. I hoped Rad would be that guy, but he's streaky as hell and I think we have to look elsewhere, to get such a guy.

So maybe we should look to Memphis and see if there's a possibility to land Mike Miller.

Why another shooter? We already have enough offense as it is. If I remember correctly, we are one of the top scoring teams in the league. What we should be looking for is a good defensive minded point guard. This team's weakness is defense, not offense

I'd say we need a defensive player, rather then another shooter. The Lakers are ranked 21st in league defense efficiency, and we really lack a defensive stopper in the mold of a Bruce Bowen, Ruben Patterson, or Quentin Ross. If only Mo Evans was a couple inches taller.

Like I always said, I feel Ron Artest will be that guy that take us to that next level. The biggest problem with Ron Artest is his brain but I'm sure winning and coach Phil can fix it.
