Thinking about the mess Amare Stoudamire got himself into. His imaginary super stardom didn't attrack anyone else to the Knicks and the NY media is going to get evil. Especially when they figure out he's just not as good without Steve Nash on his team.

It reminds me the movie Old School where Will Ferrell is running down the street naked telling his wife everyone is doing it. And she says, "Who's everyone?".

    Karma :devilwink:

Isn't it a bit early to celebrate over Amare's plight?

This time NEXT year might be a better point to do it :)

They didn't really do much in free agency, but they definitely improved their front court with the addtion of Mozgov, Turiaf and Randolph. That's a legit trio of shot blockers (assuming that Mozgov is as good as Jonathan Givony says he is) and Amare' is every bit the offensive player that Lee is as a dive man on the pick and roll and a slightly better defender (faint praise)

    Felton/Douglas?
    Walker/Azubuike?
    Gallinari/Chandler
    Amare'/Randolph
    Mosgov/Turiaf/Curry

That's not a great team by any stretch of the imagination, but they are probably at least an 8th seed in the East ...

No, but you can pretend to have a brother with a first name that is always a girls name and not a guys name.

Spud comes back obviously because of a boyfriend dump, and you make fun of her name...the poor thing needs a hug.

(Yes, I know Julius, that's not what you meant. I don't know what it was, but do know what it wasn't.)

I agree with Spudsy. AS is not as good as his mind tells him he is. The NY press is savage. I wonder how he'll like losing most of the games?

    Hi Spud!!!!!!

Good hearing your melodious posts. How goes?

Another good thing about the offseason: Turkoglu trying to find a new team.

I think they are both screwed ( I mean NYC and amare). without nash, he is probably not going to get the easy dunks he used to get. NYC has now stuck themselves with a huge contract for a player that cannot take them all the way by himself. They are going to be bad...

We should ask ourselves how hard Phoenix fought to keep Stoudemire. That should be an indication of his perceived value by his former team.

What? Wait a minute, are you saying you're dumping me?!? Announcing it on the Blazer board?!? How classy, it's worse than buying an hour of air time on ESPN and announcing it there!
